Below is an outline of the anticipated construction schedule for work on the US 301 Mainline Project – Week of July 29, 2019.

Monday, July 29, 2019 through Friday, August 2, 2019: Dayshift

Motorists should anticipate periodic single lane closure on Summit Bridge Road from Boyd’s Corner Road to Springmill Drive from 8:00AM until 4:00PM for clean up work.

Motorists should anticipate a single lane closure on both US 301 Northbound and Southbound from the Maryland State Line to the Delaware Weigh Station from 8:00 AM until 3:00 PM for Stormwater Management Pond construction.

Motorists should anticipate a single lane closure with flaggers on Middletown Warwick Road between Levels Road and Strawberry Lane from 8:00 AM until 4:00 PM for asphalt paving.

Monday, July 29, 2019 through Thursday, August 1, 2019: Dayshift

Motorists should expect a single right lane or left lane closure on Route 1 Southbound from SR 72 to the Roth Bridge from 9:00AM until 3:00PM for overhead sign foundation work.

Motorists should expect a right lane closure on US 13 Southbound from Lorewood Grove Road to Port Penn Road from 9:00AM until 2:00PM for roadside barrier work. 

Detours and Roadway Closures

The Stadium/Bus lot and secondary driveway at St. Georges High School is closed to all traffic until further notice except during morning drop off and school dismissal times Monday through Friday. All other vehicles entering/exiting at any other time should use the main entrance to the high school.

Hyetts Corner Road is closed to traffic between the St. Georges High School and Windsor Commons Way. Motorists traveling westbound on Hyetts Corner Road should follow Jamison Corner Road through the roundabout and continue to Boyds Corner Road and turn left, follow Boyds Corner Road to US 13 and turn left, and back to Hyetts Corner Road.

Motorists traveling eastbound on Hyetts Corner Road should turn right at US 13, follow US 13 to Boyds Corner Road and turn right, follow Boyds Corner Road to Jamison Corner Road and turn right, follow Jamison Corner Road through the roundabout and back to Hyetts Corner Road.
