Below is an outline of the anticipated construction schedule and associated lane closures for work on the U.S. Route 301 Mainline Project during this week.

Monday, October 3, 2016 through Friday, October 7, 2016 – Dayshift

Continue installing temporary concrete barrier wall along existing southbound U.S. Route 301 between Merrimac Road and Levels Road. Motorists should anticipate a single lane closure along southbound U.S. Route 301 between Merrimac Road Levels Road from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Continue relocating ITMS conduit along northbound and southbound State Route 1. Motorists should anticipate single lane closures on northbound and southbound State Route 1 between the Roth Bridge and the Toll Plaza from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Continue dirt hauling activities on Hyetts Corner Road. Motorists should anticipate lane closures on Hyetts Corner Road between Airmont Drive and Windsor Commons with traffic alternating through the work zone utilizing a flagging operation by construction personnel from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Continue dirt hauling activities on Boyds Corner Road. Motorists should anticipate a flagging operation by construction personnel on Boyds Corner Road west of Jamison Corner Road from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Continue dirt hauling activities across Armstrong Corner Road. Motorists should anticipate a flagging operation by construction personnel on Armstrong Corner Road west of Summit Bridge Road from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Continue dirt hauling activities across Bunker Hill Road. Motorists should anticipate a flagging operation by construction personnel on Bunker Hill Road near Appoquinimink High School from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Middle Neck Roads is closed at U.S. Route 301and will remain closed until the end of December of 2016. Motorists wishing to access Middle Neck Road from U.S. Route 301 should follow the posted detour of Bunker Hill Road to Old Telegraph Road and back to Middle Neck Road.
