Below is an outline of the anticipated construction schedule and associated lane closures for work on the US 301 Mainline Project during this week.

Saturday, November 10, 2018 through Sunday November 11, 2018 – Dayshift

Motorists should anticipate single lane closures with flaggers alternating traffic on Marl Pit Road near the intersection of Summit Bridge Road for paving operations. This work is weather dependent.

Monday, November 12, 2018 – Dayshift

Motorists should anticipate a single left lane closure both northbound and southbound on SR 1 from the Roth Bridge to the Biddles Toll Plaza from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. to reset barrier wall.

Monday, November 12, 2018 through Thursday November 15, 2018 – Dayshift

Continue bridge construction activities along SR 1. Motorists should anticipate a single left or right lane closure along northbound and southbound SR 1 between the Biddles Toll Plaza and the Roth Bridge from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Motorists should anticipate a single left lane closure from SR 72 to the Roth Bridge on SR 1 southbound from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. to set barrier wall.

Continue roadway widening activities along southbound US 13. Motorists should anticipate a single right lane closure along southbound US 13 between the Free Ramp to SR 1 and Port Penn Road from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Intermittent daytime single lane closures on Southbound US 301 between Boyds Corner Rd and Spring Mill Drive for HMA paving.

Continue bridge construction activities on Boyds Corner Road (SR 896). Motorists should anticipate an eastbound or westbound lane closure on Boyds Corner Road (SR 896) west of Cedar Lane with traffic alternating through the work zone utilizing a flagging operation by construction personnel from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Motorists should expect single lane closures on Armstrong Corner Road adjacent to Summit Bridge Road with traffic alternating through the work zone utilizing a flagging operation by construction personnel from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Motorists should expect a single lane closure on US 301 in both the northbound and southbound directions near the Maryland state line for milling and paving operations from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Friday, November 16, 2018 – Dayshift

Continue roadway widening activities along southbound US 13. Motorists should anticipate a single right lane closure along southbound US 13 between the Free Ramp to SR 1 and Port Penn Road from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Detours and Roadway Closures

Northbound US 301 from Spring Mill Drive to Boyds Corner Rd will have traffic diverted onto the newly constructed Summit Bridge Rd northbound lanes overnight from November 12, 2018 to November 13, 2018. This will be the final configuration for this traffic. Southbound US 301 from Boyds Corner Rd to Spring Mill Drive will remain in the current single lane configuration while construction continues.

The Stadium/Bus lot and secondary driveway at St. Georges High School is closed to all traffic until further notice except during morning drop off and school dismissal times Monday through Friday. All other vehicles entering/exiting at any other time should use the main entrance to the high school.

Hyetts Corner Road is closed to traffic between the St. Georges High School and Windsor Commons Way. Motorists traveling westbound on Hyetts Corner Road should follow Jamison Corner Road through the roundabout and continue to Boyds Corner Road (SR 896) and turn left, follow Boyds Corner Road (SR 896) to US 13 and turn left, and back to Hyetts Corner Road. Motorists traveling eastbound on Hyetts Corner Road should turn right at US 13, follow US Route 13 to Boyds Corner Road (SR 896) and turn right, follow Boyds Corner Road to Jamison Corner Road and turn right, follow Jamison Corner road through the roundabout and back to Hyetts Corner Road.
