SR141/I-95 Ramp Interchange Project Update
June 20, 2016
The contractor, Mumford & Miller, Inc., continues the clearing of SR141 southbound in preparation for the widening of the bridge over I-95 northbound. They completed driving piles on the north approach to the SR141 southbound bridge and will now move to the south approach. The contractor will work evening hours on I-95/295 northbound for the placement of new traffic signs and the placement of concrete barriers in order to complete the bridge demolition.
Motorists should expect traffic on SR141 southbound to be reduced to one lane in the construction area during the hours of 9AM to 3PM, Tuesday thru Friday.
There will be intermittent lane closures on northbound I-5/I-295 from 6PM to 5AM, Thursday.
Starting June 24th, the Exit 5B ramp (NB I-295 to NB SR141) will be closed. All motorists will use Exit 5A. See traffic alert below.
Motorists will no longer be able to make a left turn from northbound SR141 onto Airport Road.
