Below is an outline of the anticipated construction schedule for the US 301 Mainline Project – December 29, 2018 through January 3, 2019

Saturday, December 29, 2018 through Monday December 31, 2018: Dayshift

Motorists should anticipate a single right or left lane closure on SR 1 Northbound and Southbound between the Roth Bridge and Biddles Toll Plaza from 5:00AM until 4:00 PM for paving operations.

Saturday, December 29, 2018 through Monday December 31, 2018: Nightshift

Motorists should anticipate a double lane closure on SR 1 Northbound between Boyds Corner Road and the Roth Bridge from 10:00 PM until 5:00 AM for bearing welding and Ramp R work.

Motorists should anticipate a double lane closure on SR 1 Southbound between the Roth Bridge and Biddle’s Toll Plaza from 7:00 PM until 5:00 AM for concrete paving operations.

Monday, December 31, 2018, Wednesday January 2, 2019, and Thursday January 3, 2019: Dayshift

Continue bridge construction activities on Boyds Corner Road. Motorists should anticipate an eastbound or westbound lane closure on Boyds Corner Road, west of Cedar Lane with traffic alternating through the work zone utilizing a flagging operation by construction personnel from 8:00 AM until 4:00 PM.

Motorists should expect single lane closures with flaggers directing traffic in both directions on Jamison Corner Road from Hyetts Corner Road south through the new US 301 interchange from 9:00 AM until 3:00 PM.

Continue bridge construction activities along SR 1. Motorists should anticipate a single left or right lane closure along southbound SR 1 between the Biddles Toll Plaza and the Roth Bridge from 7:00 AM until 3:00 PM.

Detours and Roadway Closures

The Stadium/Bus lot and secondary driveway at St. Georges High School is closed to all traffic until further notice except during morning drop off and school dismissal times Monday through Friday. All other vehicles entering/exiting at any other time should use the main entrance to the high school.

Hyetts Corner Road is closed to traffic between the St. Georges High School and Windsor Commons Way. Motorists traveling westbound on Hyetts Corner Road should follow Jamison Corner Road through the roundabout and continue to Boyd’s Corner Road and turn left, follow Boyds Corner Road to US 13 and turn left, and back to Hyetts Corner Road. Motorists traveling eastbound on Hyetts Corner Road should turn right at US 13, follow US 13 to Boyd’s Corner Road and turn right, follow Boyds Corner Road to Jamison Corner Road and turn right, follow Jamison Corner Road through the roundabout and back to Hyetts Corner Road.
