Continue bridge construction activities along SR 1. Motorists should anticipate a single left or right lane closure along SR 1 northbound and southbound between the Biddles Toll Plaza and the Roth Bridge from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
Continue roadway widening activities along US 13 southbound. Motorists should anticipate a single right lane closure along US 13 southbound between the Free Ramp to SR 1 and Port Penn Road from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
Continue removing temporary concrete traffic barrier along northbound US 13. Motorists should anticipate a single left lane closure along US 13 northbound between the Port Penn Road and Old Hyett’s Corner Road from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
Continue dirt hauling and bridge construction activities across Summit Bridge Road. Motorists should anticipate a flagging operation by construction personnel on Summit Bridge Road North of Marl Pit/Armstrong Corner road from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Continue bridge construction activities along SR 1. Motorists should anticipate a double left lane closure (Express E-ZPass Lanes) along SR 1 northbound between the Biddles Toll Plaza and the Roth Bridge from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m.
Detours and Roadway Closures
Port Penn Road at US 13 is restricted to a right turn into and right turn out of Port Penn Road. Traffic accessing southbound US13 from Port Penn Road will follow Port Penn Road to Pole Bridge Road and back to US 13. Traffic accessing Port Penn Road from southbound US Route 13 will follow US 13 to Pole Bridge Road and back to Port Penn Road. Traffic accessing the Biddles Toll Plaza from northbound US 13 will follow US 13 to the traffic signal at the free ramp to northbound State Route 1 and make a U-Turn back to the Biddles Toll Plaza. This closure will remain in effect until June 2018 after the intersection is reconstructed and the new traffic signal becomes operational.
Hyetts Corner Road is closed to traffic between the St. Georges High School and Windsor Commons Way until December 2018. Motorists traveling westbound on Hyetts Corner Road should follow Jamison Corner Road through the roundabout and continue to Boyds Corner Road (SR 896) and turn left, follow Boyds Corner Road (SR 896) to US 13 and turn left, and back to Hyetts Corner Road. Motorists traveling eastbound on Hyett’s Corner Road should turn right at US 13, follow US 13 to Boyds Corner Road (SR 896) and turn right, follow Boyds Corner Road to Jamison Corner Road and turn right, follow Jamison Corner road through the roundabout and back to Hyetts Corner Road.
Strawberry Lane is closed to traffic at US Route 301. Motorists wanting to access the east side of Strawberry Lane from US Route 301 will follow Levels Road (SR 15) to Strawberry Lane. Motorists wanting to access the west side of Strawberry Lane from US Route 301 will turn left onto the new Levels Road/Warwick Road (SR 299) and follow Warwick Road (SR 299) to Strawberry Lane.

SR141/I95 Ramp Improvement Project
October 23, 2017
The contractor, Mumford & Miller Inc., continues to clear vegetation and widening the roadway on SR141 southbound and northbound on the closed side of the roadway. They are demolishing the existing SR141 southbound and northbound bridges, constructing foundations and building piers for the new bridges. They have also begun construction of the Exit 5 ramp from I295 northbound to SR141 northbound. They are working on installing utility infrastructure through the SR141 and I95 northbound corridor.
LANE CLOSURES:
Motorists should expect traffic on SR141 southbound and northbound to be reduced to one lane in the construction area during the hours of 9a.m. to 3p.m., Monday thru Friday.
Ramp Exit 5B (NB I-295 to NB SR141/Newport) remains closed until December 2017. Motorists traveling to northbound SR141/Newport should use Exit 5.

Armstrong Corner Road will be closed at Summit Bridge Road (US 301) from 8 p.m. on Friday, October 6, until 6 a.m. on Tuesday, October 10. During this time motorists are advised to follow the posted detours and use alternate routes to travel to and from Armstrong Corner Road. Motorists traveling eastbound on Armstrong Corner Road should follow Choptank Road (SR 15) through the roundabout to Bunker Hill Road (SR 15) to Summit Bridge Road (US 301) and turn left, and back to Armstrong Corner Road. Motorists traveling westbound on Armstrong Corner Road should follow Summit Bridge Road (US 301) to Bunker Hill Road (SR 15) and turn right, follow Bunker Hill Road (SR 15) through the roundabout to Choptank Road (SR 15) and back Armstrong Corner Road.
