Below is an outline of the anticipated construction schedule and associated lane closures for work on the SR 26 Mainline Improvement Project during the next week.

Monday, February 1, 2016 through Saturday, February 6, 2016
Remove temporary concrete barrier at force main relocations on Route 26 at Tyler Drive and at Route 26 and Town Road.

Motorists should anticipate westbound lane closures on Route 26 at Tyler Drive and at Route 26 and Town Road with traffic alternating through the work zone and intersection utilizing a flagging operation by construction personnel from 9:00AM – 6:00PM.

Continue grading for new curb between West Avenue and the Assawoman Canal. Motorists should anticipate eastbound and westbound lane closures on Route 26 between West Avenue and the Assawoman Canal with traffic alternating through the work zone utilizing a flagging operation by construction personnel from 09:00AM to 6:00PM.

Begin excavation for swale ditches between Bethany Crest and Denton Mills. Motorists should anticipate eastbound and westbound lane closures on Route 26 between Bethany Crest and Denton Mills with traffic alternating through the work zone utilizing a flagging operation by construction personnel from 09:00AM to 6:00PM.

Begin pulling fiber optic cable between Powell Farm Road and Roxana Road. Motorists should anticipate eastbound lane closures on Route 26 between Powell Farm Road and Roxanna Road with traffic alternating through the work zone utilizing a flagging operation by construction personnel from 09:00AM to 6:00PM.
