Anticipated Work Schedule for the week of March 23

Below is an outline of the anticipated construction schedule and associated lane closures for
work on the Route 26 Widening Project during the next week.

Monday, March 23, 2015 through Sunday, March 29, 2015

Complete the reconstruction of Bridge 3-427 in Millville and Bridge 3-428 in Ocean View.

Motorists are reminded that the detour is in place for this construction activity. Culvert 3-427 is
located in Millville just east of Clubhouse Road between Clubhouse Road and Dukes Drive.

Culvert 3-428 is located just east of Old School Lane and the Lord Baltimore Elementary School.
Through traffic on Route 26 should use the following detour:

Traveling Eastbound – Route 26 to Windmill Drive turn right, to Central Avenue turn left, and back to Route 26.

Traveling Westbound – Route 26 to Central Avenue turn left, to Windmill Drive turn right, and
back to Route 26.

Access to all businesses and residences located on both sides of the two culverts will be
maintained throughout the duration of the closure.

Motorists traveling to areas between the road closures should use the following detour:

Traveling Westbound – Route 26 to Central Avenue turn left, to Cedar Drive turn right, and back to Route 26.

Proceed west to the left of the diversion barricade through the receiving lane provided on SR 26
at Central Avenue.

Begin underground utility relocations in Ocean View.
Motorists should anticipate lane shifts on Route 26 between West Avenue and Tyler Drive with both lanes getting through the work zone.

This lane shift will be in place 24 hours a day, seven days a week for approximately 4 to 6
weeks.

Continue the installation of sanitary sewer force mains.

Motorists should anticipate eastbound or westbound lane closures on Route 26 between Irons Lane and Powell Farm Road with traffic alternating through the work zone utilizing a flagging operation by construction personnel from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Begin Milling and paving along Route 26.
Motorists should anticipate eastbound or westbound lane closures on Route 26 between Club House Road and Whites Neck Road with traffic alternating through the work zone utilizing a flagging operation by construction personnel from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Continue test pit excavation for underground utility relocations.

Motorists should anticipate eastbound or westbound lane closures on Route 26 between West Avenue and Tyler Drive with traffic alternating through the work zone utilizing a flagging operation by construction personnel from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Continue the installation of new drainage pipe and associated drainage inlets along Route 26.

Motorists should anticipate eastbound or westbound lane closures on Route 26 between Old School Lane and Woodland Avenue with traffic alternating through the work zone utilizing a flagging operation by construction personnel from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Begin placing concrete for new sidewalks along Route 26.

Motorists should anticipate eastbound or westbound lane closures on Route 26 between Grants Avenue and Cedar Drive with traffic alternating through the work zone utilizing a flagging operation by construction personnel from 7:00 a.m .to 7:00 p.m.

Below is an outline of the anticipated construction schedule and associated lane closures for work on the Route 26 Widening Project during the next week.

Monday, March 16, 2015 through Sunday, March 22, 2015

Continue the reconstruction of Bridge 3-427 in Millville and Bridge 3-428 in Ocean View.

Motorists are reminded that the detour is in place for this construction activity.

Motorists should anticipate eastbound or westbound lane closures on SR 26 between Irons Lane and Roxana Road (Route 17) with traffic alternating through the work zone utilizing a flagging operation by construction personnel from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Continue the installation of new drainage pipe and associated drainage inlets along Route 26.

Motorists should anticipate eastbound or westbound lane closures on Route 26 between Old Mill Road and Dukes Drive with traffic alternating through the work zone utilizing a flagging
operation by construction personnel from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Motorists should anticipate eastbound or westbound lane closures on Route 26 between Woodland Avenue and West Avenue with traffic alternating through the work zone utilizing a flagging operation by construction personnel from 07:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Motorists should anticipate eastbound or westbound lane closures on Route 26 between Old School Lane and Grants Avenue with traffic alternating through the work zone utilizing a flagging operation by construction personnel from 07:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
