Continue dirt hauling activities on Hyetts Corner Road. Motorists should anticipate lane closures on Hyetts Corner Road between Airmont Drive and Windsor Commons with traffic alternating through the work zone utilizing a flagging operation by construction personnel from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Continue dirt hauling activities across Bunker Hill Road. Motorists should anticipate a flagging operation by construction personnel on Bunker Hill Road near Appoquinimink High School from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Continue hauling activities across Middleneck Road. Motorists should anticipate a flagging operation by construction personnel for construction equipment crossing Middleneck Road from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

SR141/I-95 Ramp Interchange Project Update
June 20, 2016
The contractor, Mumford & Miller, Inc., continues the clearing of SR141 southbound in preparation for the widening of the bridge over I-95 northbound. They completed driving piles on the north approach to the SR141 southbound bridge and will now move to the south approach. The contractor will work evening hours on I-95/295 northbound for the placement of new traffic signs and the placement of concrete barriers in order to complete the bridge demolition.
LANE CLOSURES:
Motorists should expect traffic on SR141 southbound to be reduced to one lane in the construction area during the hours of 9AM to 3PM, Tuesday thru Friday.
There will be intermittent lane closures on northbound I-5/I-295 from 6PM to 5AM, Thursday.
Starting June 24th, the Exit 5B ramp (NB I-295 to NB SR141) will be closed. All motorists will use Exit 5A. See traffic alert below.
Motorists will no longer be able to make a left turn from northbound SR141 onto Airport Road.
TRAFFIC ALERT:
SR 141 and I-95 Ramp Interchange Project Will Require the Closure of Exit 5B
WHEN: Friday, June 24 until late-June 2017
WHERE: Exit 5B/SR 141 northbound Basin Road to Newport
WHAT: DelDOT’s contractor, Mumford & Miller Concrete Inc., is currently demolishing the bridge and reconstructing a new bridge on SR 141 northbound. During this construction phase, Exit 5B will remain closed until late June 2017.
Detour Route:
Traffic will exit off of I-95 northbound onto Airport Road and take Exit 5A/SR 141 northbound.
This project involves the replacement of the concrete beams, concrete deck, and barriers of the bridge. Additional work includes installation of guardrail, and reconstruction of the roadway approach as needed. This project is the first of two reconstruction projects to provide improvements to SR 141 and I-95 interchange.

SR141/I-95 Ramp Interchange Project Update

The contractor, Mumford & Miller, Inc., continues the clearing of SR141 southbound in preparation for the widening of the bridge over I-95 northbound. They completed driving piles on the north approach to the SR141 southbound bridge and will now move to the south approach. The contractor will work evening hours on I-95/295 northbound for the placement of temporary striping and placement of concrete barriers in order to complete the bridge demolition.
LANE CLOSURES:
Motorists should expect traffic on SR141 southbound to be reduced to one lane in the construction area during the hours of 9AM to 3PM, Monday thru Wednesday. SR141 northbound will be reduced to one lane on Tuesday, June 14, from 9AM to 3PM. There will be no lane closures on Thursday, June 16th or Friday, June 17th.
There will be intermittent lane closures on northbound I-95/I-295 from 6PM to 5AM, Monday thru Wednesday.

SR141/I-95 Ramp Interchange Project Update
June 3, 2016
The contractor, Mumford & Miller Concrete, Inc., continues the clearing of SR141 southbound in preparation for the widening of the bridge over I-95 northbound. They will continue to drive piles. They have started to place borrow and set footings for the abutments for the new SR141 bridge. Work continues on stripping and the temporary crossover for the pending closure of the ramp from northbound I-295 to northbound SR141. Delmarva will complete the temporary relocation of the gas main on northbound SR141.
LANE CLOSURES:
Motorists should expect traffic on SR141 southbound to be reduced to one lane in the construction area during the hours of 9AM to 3PM, Monday thru Friday. SR141 northbound will be reduced to one lane Monday thru Wednesday, 9AM to 3PM.
There will be intermittent lane closures on SR141 and on northbound I-95/I-295 from 6PM to 5AM.
Motorists will no longer be able to make a left turn from northbound SR141 onto Airport Road.

The contractor, Mumford and Miller, Inc. continues the clearing of SR141 southbound in preparation for bridge widening work over I-95 northbound. The contractor is driving piles for the new bridge. Delmarva continues to work on a temporary relocation of a gas main off of the SR141 northbound bridge over I-95 in preparation for the widening of that bridge.

Motorists should expect traffic on SR141 northbound and southbound to be reduced to one lane in the construction area during the hours of 9AM to 3PM, Wednesday thru Saturday.
There will be intermittent lane closures on SR141 and on northbound I-95/I-295 from 6PM to 5AM.
Motorists will no longer be able to make a left turn from northbound SR141 onto Airport Road.
There will be NO lane closures on Monday, May 30th and Tuesday, May 31st.

Mumford & Miller Concrete, Inc. continues the clearing of 141 southbound in preparation for the widening of the bridge over I-95 northbound. They will be driving test piles. Delmarva continues to work on the temporary relocation of a gas main off of the SR141 northbound bridge over I-95 in preparation for widening of that bridge. During the evening hours, stripping will take place on I-95 and I-295 along with the filling of the rumble strips for the future crossover.
LANE CLOSURES:
Motorists should expect traffic on SR141 northbound and southbound to be reduced to one lane in the construction area during the hours of 9AM to 3PM, Monday thru Thursday.
There will be intermittent lane closures on SR141 and on northbound I-95/I-295 from 6PM to 5AM.

There will be NO lane closures on Friday, May 27th, and Monday, May 30th.

The contractor, Mumford & Miller Concrete, Inc., will continue to drive piles along southbound SR141. Work continues on clearing SR141 southbound in preparation for bridge widening over I-95 northbound. Delmarva is working on a temporary relocation of a gas main off of the SR141 northbound bridge over I-95 in preparation for the widening of that bridge. There will be evening stripping operations.
LANE CLOSURES:
Motorists should expect traffic on SR141 northbound and southbound to be reduced to one lane in the construction area during the hours of 9AM to 3PM, Monday thru Friday.
There will be intermittent lane closures on SR141 and on northbound I-95/I-295 from 6PM to 5AM.
NEW TRAFFIC SIGNAL:
A temporary traffic signal has been installed on northbound 141 at Airport Road. On Tuesday, May 17th, the light will be set on a flashing mode with full activation taking place on Friday, May 20th. Once the light is activated, no left turns from northbound SR141 onto Airport Road will be allowed.

SR141/I-95 Ramp Interchange Project
May 6, 2016
Contractor, Mumford & Miller Concrete, Inc., is currently working on continuing the clearing of SR 141 southbound in preparation for bridge widening work over I-95 northbound. The Contractor continues driving temporary shoring and will start test piles next week. Delmarva continues to work on a temporary relocation of a gas main off of the SR 141 northbound bridge over I-95 in preparation for widening of that bridge. Night time work continues on SR 141, I-95 and I-295 northbound for placement of temporary shielding on the northbound SR 141 bridge and for possible paving of the crossover and striping the crossover (weather permitting) for the removal of the existing bridges.
LANE CLOSURES:
Motorist should expect traffic on SR141 southbound to be reduced to one lane in the construction area during the hours of 9AM to 3PM, Monday thru Friday.
During the Delmarva relocation work, there will be one lane of traffic on SR141 northbound from 9AM to 3PM, Monday thru Friday. In addition, there will be one lane of traffic on SR141 northbound on Monday evening, May 9th, from 6PM to 10PM.
There will be intermittent lane closures on northbound I-95/I-295 from 6PM to 5AM.

SR141/I-95 Ramp Interchange Project Update
April 29, 2016
The contractor, Mumford & Miller, Inc., will complete the drainage improvements between I-95 and I-295 to allow the construction of a temporary cross-over for traffic control purposes. Work continues to clear 141 southbound in preparation for bridge widening work over I-95 northbound. Delmarva has begun the temporary relocation of a gas main off of 141 northbound in preparation for widening of that bridge. Work will begin on Airport Road between NB141 and SB141 to convert to one way traffic eastbound.
LANE CLOSURES:
Motorists should expect traffic on SR141 northbound and southbound to be reduced to one lane in the construction area during the hours of 9AM to 3PM, Monday thru Friday.
There will be intermittent lane closures on northbound I-95/I-295 from 6PM to 5AM.
NEW CLOSURE:
Airport Road between NB141 to SB141 will be closed to NB141 traffic on or about May 3rd.
