Below is an outline of the anticipated construction schedule and associated lane closures for work on the U.S. Route 301 Mainline Project during this week.

Monday, August 8, 2016 through Saturday, August 13, 2016

Access to the Biddles Toll Plaza E-ZPass Customer Service Center from northbound State Route 1 is closed. Motorists wishing to access the Biddles Plaza E-ZPass Customer Service Center must use the entrance from U.S. Route 13.

Begin grass seeding activities along the median of U.S. Route 13 between Port Penn Road and Old Hyetts Corner Road. Motorists should anticipate a mobile left lane closure on U.S. Route 13 between Port Penn Road and Old Hyetts Corner Road on Monday, August 8, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Begin removal of rumble strips along the left shoulder of State Route 1 south of the Roth Bridge. Motorists should anticipate a left lane closure along southbound State Route 1 between the Roth Bridge and State Route 896 on Thursday, August 11, 2016 from 7:00PM to 5:00AM.

Continue dirt hauling activities on Hyetts Corner Road. Motorists should anticipate lane closures on Hyetts Corner Road between Airmont Drive and Windsor Commons with traffic alternating through the work zone utilizing a flagging operation by construction personnel from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Continue dirt hauling activities on Boyds Corner Road. Motorists should anticipate a flagging operation by construction personnel on Boyds Corner Road west of Jamison Corner Road from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Begin dirt hauling activities across Armstrong Corner Road. Motorists should anticipate a flagging operation by construction personnel on Armstrong Corner Road west of Summit Bridge Road from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Begin roadway repairs to on Armstrong Corner Road. Motorists should anticipate eastbound and westbound lane closures on Armstrong Corner Road west of Summit Bridge Road with traffic alternating through the work zone utilizing a flagging operation by construction personnel from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Continue dirt hauling activities across Bunker Hill Road. Motorists should anticipate a flagging operation by construction personnel on Bunker Hill Road near Appoquinimink High School from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Middle Neck Roads is closed at U.S. Route 301 and will remain closed until the end of December of 2016. Motorists wishing to access Middle Neck Road from U.S. Route 301 should follow the posted detour of Bunker Hill Road to Old Telegraph Road and back to Middle Neck Road.
