SR141/I-95 Project Update May 6, 2016

Contractor, Mumford & Miller Concrete, Inc., is currently working on continuing the clearing of SR 141 southbound in preparation for bridge widening work over I-95 northbound. The Contractor continues driving temporary shoring and will start test piles next week. Delmarva continues to work on a temporary relocation of a gas main off of the SR 141 northbound bridge over I-95 in preparation for widening of that bridge. Night time work continues on SR 141, I-95 and I-295 northbound for placement of temporary shielding on the northbound SR 141 bridge and for possible paving of the crossover and striping the crossover (weather permitting) for the removal of the existing bridges.
LANE CLOSURES:
Motorist should expect traffic on SR141 southbound to be reduced to one lane in the construction area during the hours of 9AM to 3PM, Monday thru Friday.
During the Delmarva relocation work, there will be one lane of traffic on SR141 northbound from 9AM to 3PM, Monday thru Friday. In addition, there will be one lane of traffic on SR141 northbound on Monday evening, May 9th, from 6PM to 10PM.
There will be intermittent lane closures on northbound I-95/I-295 from 6PM to 5AM.
